ASUU Presents Conditions To End Strike To F.G.

This is to inform to the general public on the updates concerning the strike of ASUU. 

Strikes can be prevented and avoided if the given conditions and demands are met at the time agreed by the two parties. We are sheilding more light on the issue of strike in the Nigerian Universities.

The union has presented her conditions to the FG before it can suspend her strike. The union also said that the strike has nothing to do with the new salary palava but wants the FG to invest in the universities as in the two parties agreement at N1.518,331, 545,304trillion from 2009 to 2011.

ASUU Will Begin Its Strike From 4th Dec., 2011

In respect of the information released earlier by the body [ASUU], The Academic staff of Nigeria Comences its Nation wide Strike today sunday 4th of December 2011 by 12:00 midnight.
That means from on the 5th of December 2011, there will be no activity or lectures going on.

Please Let's know how activities are in your school.

P.S. If you are yet to go to school, then you probably need to wait until tuesday or wednesday, so as to confirm if the strike is still going to hold.
Or rather as a student before going to school, you probably need to call your friends to know what's up. Right?

Beside this ASUU and the Federal Government should settle their score.

Assu Calls Off 1 Week Strike!!!

The Acedamic Staff Union Of Universities has call the one week strike off. The television stations have aired the information this morning.The union says the strike will serves as a warning to the federal government to do what they are meant to do. According to ASUU,  the federal governement have not been committed to the agreement as signed. But some people have been pleading and telling the ASUU that they have to take things easy because of the issues that the FG have been going through such as Boko Haram, and the issues of Insecurities in the country.
