This is one of the good things happen nowadays. But I know that it may not go well with some people out there. Do you know that President Goodluck Jonathan has approved the re-appointment of Prof. Dibu Ojerinde as the Registrar, Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for another tenure of five years?

This was contained in a statement issued by Mr Aliyu Othman, Special Assistant on Media to the Minister of Education, Prof. Ruqayyatu Rufa’I.

Thanks to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that made this available for us. It occured on Tuesday in Abuja.

So, Prof. Ojerinde’s tenure of office will starts  comes 10th of April , 2012. The statement also called on the registrar to rededicate himself to the success of the Transformation Agenda of the President and to sustain his good work and reforms in the operation of JAMB.

Mr Ojerinde expressed joy  after he had recieved the letter and assured that he will be more committed to achieve more success story for JAMB in the nearest future.
