EKSU TO HOST UNIVERSITY/PARENTS FORUM

As part of the efforts by the Ekiti State University to improve on the existing relationship between parents and the University community, a Parents / University forum will soon begin in the institution.

The intention is to provide a avenue for interaction before the University and Parents  where issues bordering on the welfare of the students would be discussed. The Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. E. Dada Adelowo explained that this would also go a long way in providing the parents with a knowledge of the conducts and performances of their wards in the institution.  He dropped  this hint while addressing the senior staff of the institution recently.

The Acting Vice-Chancellor added that the forum would also provide an avenue for the parents and guardians to understand how the University system works. He also stressed that the forum would help in cut-tailing  lawlessness among the students.

Professor Adelowo pointed out that parents would also be able to know the status of the studentship of their wards as well as understand the mode of payment of fees in the University .
