Dear Students,

Goodwill Message

On behalf of the Student Affairs Division, the Dean, Student Affairs sincerely welcomes you back to the University, urges you to settle down as quickly as possible, passionately requests you to put behind you the Christmas and New Year holiday experiences and give your academic pursuit the attention it deserves.

As you are quickly settling down to face your academic pursuit, the Student Affairs Division wishes to draw your attention to some decisions taken by the University Management to ensure that the University environment continues to remain conducive for academic pursuit. Some of these decisions are that:

(i)                 All students, at all times and all places should be in possession of their Identity cards.

(ii)               All commercial activities on the University Campus are to terminate at nine o’clock (9;00 pm) in the evening as from 15th January, 2013.

(iii)             Students or indeed any other persons should not use any of the shops on the University campus as places of Residence, that is sleeping places.

(iv)             All students should be security conscious and report to the Student Affairs Division and/or Security Division, Dean of Faculties, Heads of Department and Hall Officers, all cases of missing roommates or class mates promptly.

(v)               Students should try as much possible to study in groups, that is going to the Library, Lecturer Theatres, class rooms, and/or returning to the Hostels, especially in the night.

(vi)             All students whether residing on Campus or Off Campus should respect and obey constituted authorities.

Once again, the Dean, Student Affairs, on behalf of the Student Affairs Division wishes you successful completion of the First Semester 2012/2013. Happy and prosperous 2013.

Thank you

Yours faithfully,
