3 LAUTECH Students Dead Killed By Drunk Driver

This is the latest news update we got from the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) as 3 (Three) Students of the institution lost their lives when a drunk driver ran his vehicle into them.

The school environment and surroundings have been thrown into a morning state.

Few minutes after this horrible incident, the students of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology(LAUTECH) began to cause havoc on motors and other vehicle at sight. They went ahead and made firebon (burning of tyres)

2013 FUTO PreDegree Exam Date Now Out

The Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) has her management announced the precised date for the commencement of the 2013 Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO)  Predegree examination for the aspiring students.

The school management has scheduled the examination to hold on the 15th of April, 2013 .

And also,it was noted in the report that we got that the regular or returning students will also resume on same day for the commencement of the 2012/2013 Second Semester academic session.

2013 BUSINESS PLAN COMPETITION FOR UNILAG STUDENTS

The Counselling Unit of Students’ Affairs Division, University of Lagos is set to organize a Business Plan Competition for students of the University. The first prize is N250, 000.00 while the second prize is N150, 000.00 and the third Prize is N100, 000.00.

The competition which will be sponsored by Stanbic IBTC Bank aims: to promote business ideas in students and encourage them to become entrepreneurs; sensitize students on opportunities around them and to provide an opportunity for winners to access cash prizes which could serve as initial capital.

SIWES ORIENTATION PROGRAMME DATE ANNOUNCED

The Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) Orientation Programme for students of the University of Lagos will commence on Monday, April 8, 2013.

The Programme is an annual event organized to inform and equip eligible students in the Faculties of Science, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Social Sciences (i.e Geography and Creative Arts) with necessary knowledge about the industrial work scheme.  Its objective is to ensure effective participation, interaction and comprehension of the information that would be needed by the students.
