The Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) Orientation Programme for students of the University of Lagos will commence on Monday, April 8, 2013.
The Programme is an annual event organized to inform and equip eligible students in the Faculties of Science, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Social Sciences (i.e Geography and Creative Arts) with necessary knowledge about the industrial work scheme. Its objective is to ensure effective participation, interaction and comprehension of the information that would be needed by the students.

BATCH 1:
DATE: Monday, April 8, 2013 Time: 10.00 am – 12.00 noon
Venue: Arts Theatre, Faculty of Arts
Participants:Faculty of Engineering (Departments of Chemical, Petroleum & Gas, Civil & Environmental, Electrical/Electronics, Computer Engineering, Mechanical, Metallurgical & Materials,Surveying & Geoinformatics and Systems Engineering).
BATCH 2:
Date: Monday, April 8, 2013 Time: 1.00 pm - 3.00 pm. Venue: Arts Theatre, Faculty of Arts.
Participants: Faculty of Environmental Sciences (Departments of Architecture, Building, Quantity Surveying, Estate Management and Urban & Regional Planning); Faculty of Social Sciences (Department of Geography) and Faculty of Arts (Department of Creative Arts-Visual Arts.)
BATCH 3:
Date: Tuesday, April 9, 2013 Time: 10.00 am – 12.00 noon Venue: Science Lecture Theatre S026, Faculty of Sciences.
Participants: Faculty of Science (Departments of Biochemistry, Botany, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Cell Biology).
BATCH 4: Date: Tuesday, April 9, 2013 Time: 1.00 pm – 3.00 pm
Venue: Science Lecture Theatre S026, Faculty of Sciences.
Participants: Faculty of Science (Departments of Computer Sciences, Geo-Sciences, Microbiology, Marine Sciences, Physics and Zoology).
BATCH 5:
Date: Thursday, April 11, 2013 Time: 10.00 am – 12.00 pm
Venue: Old Great Hall, College of Medicine, University of Lagos, Idi-Araba, Lagos.
Participants: Faculty of Pharmacy and Department of Radiography
