INFORMATION FOR PUBLICATION ON THE UNIVERSITY WEBSITE FOR THE 2012 CONVOCATION CEREMONY As preparation for the forthcoming convocation is underway, the Certificates and Verification Unit hereby request that the following information be publish on the University website for smooth operation of certificates issuance to the 2012 Graduands:
Requirement for Collection of Certificates:
· Recipients are required to complete a Certificate Clearance Form which should be obtained from their respective faculties. All sections on the form must be ensured to be duly signed with a Self-Passport Photograph paste on it.
· The sum of 1000 Naira for certificate collection must be paid at the cash office and a Receipt obtained for such payment after recipients have successfully completed their clearance form.
· Recipients must produce their student Identity Cards issued to them by the University in the course of their programmes as it shall be used in exchange for their certificates.
· All the above required items MUST be tendered at the point of collection in the Certificate Office to guarantee certificate collection.
· To cope with the large number of graduands at the collection point (Certificate Office) the University has drawn-up a schedule for the collection of certificates on faculty bases. Days/Dates scheduled for graduands of the respective faculties will be communicated from time to time through this medium.
· Collection/Issuing Exercise shall be within the hours of 9.00am-2.00pm on every schedule.
· Collection of certificate(s) by ANYONE on behalf of recipients is highly PROHIBITED.
