2 UNIPORT LECTURERS DIED IN AUTO CRASH

 Have you heard the latest news concerning the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT)? This  was what occurred some couples of days ago. We noted  that 2 lecturers of the Department of Linguistics and Communication Studies, University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT),  Dr. Obed Ojukwu and Dr. Ekaette Evangel Akpan have died in an auto crash.

It is a sadful occurence. Dr. Obed Ojukwu, an Abia State indigene was a Senior Pastor at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). He recently dedicated his four-month old baby on Sunday.

Dr. Ekaette Evangel Akpan hails from Akwa Ibom State. Both were on their way to a conference that was to hold in UNICAL in Cross River State. What actually happened was that a truck ran into their vehicle along the Ogoni axis of the East-West Road.

Dr. Obed Ojukwu didn't make it alive. But  Dr. Ekaette Evangel Akpan was rushed to an unnamed hospital and died the next day.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Joseph Ajienka, has described the deaths as unfortunate. And it is also painful. May God grant them a eternal rest. Amen
