OSUSTECH Made Two Giant Strides

These are one of the great feats been achieved by one of the tertiary institutions on Nigerian soil. The  Ondo State University of Science and Technology, Okitipupa popularly known as OSUSTECH unveiled new Laboratories and in fact, some students were seen working in one of the new laboratories in the school.

Another giant step taken by the school is that same OSUSTECH just relocated to her new permanent campus in the space of two years after it was founded.  It made history as the first public university to move to its permanent site within two years. Before this, all academic and administrative activities were concentrated on the same spot called the ‘take-off campus’ of the institution.

But relief came when the Ondo State governor, who was also the visitor to the university, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, made a promise to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Tolu Odugbemi that the university would move to its permanent site within two years.

A lot of people took this promise with a pinch of salt. Their pessimism was not misplaced. They have heard similar promises that were never kept.

Now the new permanent site of Osustech is Kilometre 6, Igbokoda Road, Okitipupa, Ondo State.
