Reading At Night Might Be Dangerous - Dr. Babs Yusuf

This is to inform the students community that there is a new development concerning students attitudes like reading in the middle of the Night. Some has believed in their mind that if one read at night, one will score high grade. Today, I got proofs to prove to you that you are wrong.

Do you know that not all the students find it easy to study their books in the night especially during the examination period? I know that if you are a night-reader like me, you would have experience it too. But wait...can you read what an health expert said concerning this night-reading attitude that we students have cultivated?

An adult is meant to have nothing less than a six hours night sleep regularly according to an health expert. But some students rarely sleep three hours. I am serious about it. Some don't even sleep atall. That's INSOMNIA. It is very bad not to sleep because God didn't create you as a ZOMBIE or MACHINE. If you don't sleep during the night, I bet you, your day will not be okay. I mean you might be experiencing drowsing or tiredness or fatigue when you needed to be on top of your game for the day.

The best recommended time for study is either EARLY HOURS OR EVENING TIME. I am not saying reading in the afternoon is not good but here we are only explaining on the time that will best suit your brain and memory.

During either of the time above, you are on the alert and full of vigor. Your brain will assimilate anything that you read during these times. Best way to go about this is to set up a time table to read during the examination period.

Reading before examination time is also one of the best ways to keep your brain fresh and filled with information. So, get the balls rolling and God will surely bless your endeavours In Jesus Name...AMEN.
