Imo State University -IMSU- Began Indefinite Internal Strike



Unconfirmed report reached us that Imo State University -IMSU- Began Indefinite Internal Strike. According to the report,


The school has decided to continue the ASUU Strike, this will really be a sad news for students of Imo State University who are already planning to go back to school after the asuu strike has been called off. But.

The staff of Imo State University (IMSU) yesterday embarked on an indefinite strike two days after the Academic Staff Union of University, ASUU called off her two months old strike.
Announcing the strike, the spokesmen to the striking lecturers announced that students should not come back to school as they (the lecturers) are not ready to teach until the state government respond to their requests.

Although the reason behind this strike is not yet clear yet as at the time of this report, reports gathered from a radio broadcast on a radio station in Owerri (Hot 99.5fm) that the lecturers are angry over government's non response to their problems earlier table.
To it on Governor Okorocha's first visit to the school after he assumed office.
So, we are advicing all the students of Imo State University both New and Returning Students to not return to school yet until further notice.
