The Joint Admissions and
Matriculation Board (JAMB) might release the results of the 2012
Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted last
Saturday any moment from now.

About 1.5 million candidates registered for the 2012 UTME, which took place simultaneously in examination towns in Nigeria and in six foreign centres namely: Accra in Ghana, Buea in Republic of Cameroun, Cotonu in Republic of Benin, London in United Kingdom, Jeddah in Saudi Arabia and Johannesburg.
In 2009, the University Matriculation Examination was released after days, while the 2010 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination was released in six (6) days. 2012 will be released very soon maximum of a week
The board had taken time this time to sort out the results properly in order to minimise the high incidence of withheld results. Result witheld are cuased by students that did improper shedding and wrong filling of instructions and also candidates that did multiple cheating in examination halls in some centres might not see their results.
