The College of Education, Akwanga, Nasarawa State realized over N15 million from the recently conducted Post-UME screening, an administrative officer of the institution, Mrs. Janet Audu.
Mrs Audu, who disclosed this to Daily Trust on phone yesterday, however said she had no idea how about many students were screened.
On the information that each candidate was charged N3,950, she said her office was not involved in the monetary aspect of the screening exercise.
The bursar of the college, Mr. Kayinu Adamu, declined comment, saying only the provost could say how much was realized from the exercise.
The provost, Mrs. Victoria Titi Monde, said, "The exercise was handled between the offices of Academic Secretary, the Administrative Officer, and a committee set up by the management for the purpose of the screening. Such figures are not with me. I can't say how many students sat for the screening. I can't know how much money was realized for the screening; just like that".
