1. ADMISSION TO FULL-TIME HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (HND) TWO (2) YEARS PROGRAMME FOR THE 2012/2013 ACADEMIC SESSION

AVAILABLE PROGRAMMES: Accountancy Business Administration Marketing Office Technology Management (OTM) Mass-Communication Electrical/Electronics in the under-mentioned options: Electronics/Telecom Power/Machine Civil Engineering in the under-mentioned options. i. Highway Transportation ii. Structures Statistics Urban and Regional Planning Architecture Estate Management Food Technology Science Laboratory Technology In the under-mentioned options. Micro-Biology/Biology Chemistry Physics with Electronics

General Entry Requirements: Applicant must: 1. satisfy the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic entry requirements for each relevant National Diploma Programme; pass at not below Lower Credit in the relevant National Diploma Programmes from accredited programmes/Institutions; have completed one year post National Diploma relevant work experience (evidence of industrial work experience is required). Candidate with a pass at ND level would require 2 years post-qualification industrial experience; request his/her former Institution to send transcripts of his academic record to the Registrar, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta; Applicants who obtained their National Diploma (ND) from other Polytechnics with Pre-ND as their entry qualification shall not be admitted. Post-qualification School Certificate ordinary level results are not admissible.

2. ADMISSION TO ONE YEAR POLYTECHNIC DIPOLMA FULL-TIME

PROGRAMMES FOR THE 2012/2013 ACADEMIC SESSION

PROGRAMMES:	General Entry Requirements: Applicants for Polytechnic Diploma in Sciences and Management courses must have at least three (3) credit passes and two (2) ordinary passes at WAEC/GCE/SSCE/NECO/NABTEB obtained at not more than one sitting. Credit passes must include one of Mathematics or English Language while the second must be at least a pass. All successful Polytechnic Diplomates would be considered for admission into ND programmes but they must make up their deficiencies before graduating from ND programme.
I. DIPLOMA IN ENGINEE-RING	A credit pass in Mathematics and one other basic Science subject from any of Physics, Chemistry. Candidates must have at least a pass in Physics. Other passes may include Biology/ Agric Science, Technical Drawing, Basic Electrical/Electronics, Wood Works and Auto Mechanics. NOTE: Candidates would be admitted to any of the under listed ND programmes based on academic performance at the completion of Diploma programmes. Civil Engineering Electrical/Electronics Engineering Mechanical Engineering Technology Computer Science Computer Engineering
DIPLOMA IN ENVIRON-MENTAL STUDIES	Three credit passes in GCE 'O' Level/WASC/SSCE/ NABTEB or equivalent from at least two of the under-listed subject groups and two (2) other passes Mathematics Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agric. Science Geography, Economics, English Language, Account, Statistics and Computer studies. NOTE: Candidates would be admitted to any of the under-listed ND programmes based on academic performance at the completion of Diploma Programmes Architecture Building Technology Quantity Surveying Estate Management Urban and Regional Planning Surveying & Geo-informatics
DIPLOMA IN PURE AND APPLIED SCIENCE	Three credits and two passes from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agric. Science, Mathematics, Further Maths., Statistics, Economics, Technical Drawing, Electronics Computer, Geography. NOTE: Candidate would be admitted to any of the under listed ND programmes based on academic performance at the completion of the Diploma Programmes. Science Laboratory Technology Food Science Technology Statistics Pharmaceutical Technology Hospitality Management Leisure and Tourism
DIPLOMA IN MANAGE-MENT	In addition to the general entry requirement, three (3) credit passes in GCE 'O' Level/WASC/SSCE/ NABTEB or equivalent from at least two of the under-listed subject groups and two (2) other passes Economics, Commerce, Account Geography, Government, History, Physics, Chemistry, Biology NOTE: Candidates would be admitted to any of the under-listed ND programmes based on academic performance at the completion of Diploma Programmes Business Administration Accounting Marketing Office Technology Management (OTM)
DIPLOMA IN MASS COMMUNICATION	In addition to the general entry requirement, Candidate must have three (3) credits and Two (2) passes from Literature in English, Government, Yoruba/French Language, History, Economics, Biology, Geography, Mathematics and English.
