Do you know that recently, the University of Abuja -UNIABUJA- had its 21st matriculation of her freshers on the 30th of June, 2012. The event was fun-filled and live at the UniAbuja main campus.Prof. James Adelabu who is the V.C. of the institution said that about 4, 000 students were deem fit for the admission into the 2012/2013 academic session. About 14,000 students were not grant admission this year.
He also said that the school had 3 suspended programmes which includes
#Veterinary medicine
#Medicine
# Engineering and
#Agriculture because the Federal Government has placed a moratorium on admission into those disciplines until further notice.
One of the surprising development tha is going on in the school is the construction of a Veterinary Clinic may become one of the largest of veterinary teaching facilities in Nigeria and it is nearing completion.
