2012 UNILAG AND Google Africa Trainee Program

The Google Africa Trainee Program is designed specifically for students who are studying at an African university. The program will take place at our Zurich office, working within the Emerging Markets team on projects relating to the African region, and taking place from June through to August. Financial support for relocation will also be provided.
Candidates should be enrolled in Computer Science or a related field and have excellent programming skills in either C++, Java and/or Python.
As a valued member of the university community, we'd like to ask for your help in identifying top students who could be interested in the Google Africa Trainee Program for 2012. If you are interested in referring a student from your university, please complete this form or visit http://goo.gl/B8Spq. Someone from the University Programs team will review the submissions, and follow up with eligible candidates. We would like no more than 3 student referrals per faculty member and encourage faculty to submit any referrals by Friday 21st October so they can be treated with priority.
If you would like more information before referring, please check out this site. For information about our regular engineering internship and other opportunities for students, please visit http://www.google.com/intl/en/jobs/students/emea/technical/
We have also announced call for application to the Google Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship for women in IT. Please, checkout this blog post for more information on how to apply.
