Concerning the screening exercise, a date has been fixed, its scheduled to hold from the 15th of August. Although, it was mentioned that registration will commence any time from now,there's nothing on the website for now. The method of registration will be slightly different from how it was done last year. Prospective candidates are to pay a sum of N1000 (besides bank charges)to any bank using the eTranzact platform. They'll obtain a PIN from the bank which they'll use for the online registration. Only duly registered students will be allowed into the hall for the exam.

Only candidates who scored 190 and above are eligible to sit for the exam.

Specific cut off marks have been assigned to different schools/faculty. The school of science and science education have theirs at 190.
The School of Engineering and engineering technology have theirs at 220.
The school of Environmental Tech. has theirs at 200.
The department of Architecture has its at 220.
The school of Agriculture and agricultural technology has theirs at 190.

Any candidate that does not meet up with the cut off mark assigned to his/her school can apply for another that agrees with his/her cut off mark.

Registration closes on 13th August, at 12midnight.

Application is open to those who chose the university as their first or second choice.
