The Governing Council, Senate, Management, Staff, Students and other members of the University Community mourn the demise of its tenth Vice-Chancellor, Professor Adetokunbo Babatunde Sofoluwe, B.Sc (Lagos), M.Sc, Ph.D (Edinburgh), FCOAN, FNCS, FAS.

Burial arrangements are as follow:

• Friday, May 25, 2012: Special Jumat/Prayer Service at 2 p.m.  at UNILAG Mosque.
  
  

• Sunday, May 27, 2012: Special Prayer/Service at 8.00 a.m. and 10.00 a.m. at:
  

1. Chapel of Christ, Our Light,  Main Campus, Akoka;
   
2. St. Thomas Moore Catholic Main Campus, Akoka; and
   
3. Chapel of Healing Cross, Idi-Araba Campus
   

•  Tuesday, May 29, 2012: Service of Songs at the Chapel of Christ, Our Light, Main Campus, Akoka, Lagos from 5.00 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.
  
  

• Wednesday, May 30, 2012:
  

1. Special Senate Session at the Senate Chamber, Senate House, Main Campus, Akoka at 12.00 noon
   
2. 
   Wake-Keep at the Multipurpose Hall, Main Campus, Akoka at 5.00 p.m.

1. Motorcade Round UNILAG Campuses from 7.00 a.m. to 9.00 a.m.;
   
2. Funeral Service at All Saints Church, Montgomery, Yaba at 10.00a.m.; and
   
3. Interment at Ikoyi Vaults & Gardens at 12.30 p.m.
