Google Ambassador - KWASU 300 Level Computer Science Student Appointed

A 300 level Computer Science Student of the Kwara State University Damilare Peter Oyinloye has been appointed Google Student Ambassador at the Kwara State University for a one year period.  (2012-2013).


To this end a new Ambassador has been invited to 3 day Google Ambassador orientation summit in Nairobi Kenya from the 11th to 13th of June 2013.


The Ambassador programme is part of Google’s ongoing commitment to supporting education in African.  Ambassador serves as Googles’ representative on campus – they plan and host a few educationally related events during the school year, introduce students to Google products and features, create awareness about Googles opportunities, and act as a campus contact for Google teams.


Other responsibilities include spreading news about competitions, boot camps, scholarships and other opportunities, attend Google events as Google’s representative, help Google to better understand your campus culture and build relationships on campus with faculty and students groups among others.
