Protest In Unilag By Students

It was not a good day for the students and the entire staff of the University of Lagos – UNILAG as the school experienced a massive student protest. The protesting of the students was caused by the changing of the varsity from University of Lagos to the memory of Nigerian Late politician, Moshood Kashimawo Abiola.

The change was announced by the chief of arm forces of the federal Republic of Nigeria, President Goodluck Jonathan when he was making the democracy day. The students couldn’t let the name be because they don’t want the name. It was noted that the students of UNILAG closed the school’s entrance gate thereby preventing vehicles from getting into the campus.

They gathered in large number and protest across the school. The name of the school should remains UNILAG not Moshood Abiola University of Lagos MAU.

Editor's Note: Don't worry girls, you are no longer Unilag babes but MAU babes...Lol.Funny, right?

More and more updates coming your way.
