UNILAG NEW VC AND FUNERAL CEREMONY FOR LATE VC

This is to inform the general public that UNILAG has unveiled a new  Vice Chancellor after the death of the Late Prof. Babatunde Sofoluwe.The name of the new acting Vice Chancellor is named Prof. Rahman Ade-Bello.

 He was initially the deputy Vice Chancellor.

  

FUNERAL PROGRAMME FOR DEPARTED VICE-CHANCELLOR, PROFESSOR A.B. SOFOLUWE

Authorities of the University of Lagos have issued the funeral programme for the late 10th Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Adetokunbo Babatunde Sofoluwe, FAS.

Below is the programme:

    Friday, May 25, 2012: Special Jumat/Prayer Service at 1.30 p.m.  at UNILAG Mosque.
    Sunday, May 27, 2012: Special Prayer/Services at 10.00 a.m. at the:

    Chapel of Christ, Our Light, , Main Campus, Akoka;
    St. Thomas Moore Catholic Main Campus, Akoka; and
    Chapel of Healing Cross, Idi-Araba Campus.

    Tuesday, May 29, 2012: Service of Songs in the Main Auditorium, Main Campus, Akoka, Lagos from 5.00 p.m. – 6.30 p.m.
    Wednesday, May 30, 2012:

     A Special Senate in the Senate Chamber, Senate House, Main Campus, Akoka at 12 noon; and
    Wake-Keep at the Multipurpose Hall, Main Campus, Akoka from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

    Thursday, May 31, 2012:

    Lying-in- State at UNILAG Sports Centre from 8.00 a.m. to 9.00 a.m.;
    Funeral Service at All Saints Church, Yaba from 10.00a.m to 11.00 a.m.;
    Interment at Ikoyi Vaults & Gardens at 12.30 p.m.; and
    Reception at the Multipurpose Halls, at 2.00 p.m.

     Sunday, June 3, 2012: Outing Service at All Saints Church, Yaba at 7.00 a.m.
