The Global Women Inventors’ Network founded by Mrs. Babalola Olabisi in collaboration with the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs (MOWAC) Ghana showcased ‘The innovative Women in Business and the workplace Conference and Awards Ceremony  in Accra Ghana on the 24th to 25th of April, 2012.
The event was focused at encouraging Africans to embrace innovation as a key economic drive and to encourage new ideas to be turned into commercial success which will ultimately be of benefit to Africa and the International community.
The College being a collaborator of the network and after the successful display of the College’s designs at Iceland in September, 2011 by four students of Industrial Design Department, School of Art, Design and Printing Technology, the College was invited to be a part of the event.
The four students (Maxwell Ozolua, Blessing Ogbuefi, Victor Bassey and James Olowoyo) under the supervision of Mrs. Anene Ibisi showcased a successful Eco-Friendly Fashion Catwalk show alongside World renowned fashion designer Adebayo Jones.
Once again, the College has displayed its innovative ambitions and has excelled at showing great talent within and outside the country.
