This is to notify the general public and most especially Prospective Candidates of The Federal University of Technology, Owerri, that supplementary admission forms is now and it is available FREE of CHARGE [F.O.C] at The Federal University of Technology, Owerri-FUTO.
The details are as written for any prospective candidate of Futo to Apply for the supplementary form.
Not all the departments accept supplementary form. So read carefully to which department you can apply for, that is, if your department is doesn't have space for More students. And you can now choose which department you can best fit in.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Selection is based on two criteria:
*1. Your post UTME score must be up to 180.
*2. The average of your JAMB and post UTME scores "MUST" be equal to or above the cut-off Mark for the department you intend going for.
See categories below to see which of the department will not accept supplementary candidates.
There will be NO supplementary in:
* EEE, [Electrical Electronic Engineering]
* MEE, [Mechanical Enginnering]
* PET, [Petroleum and T.]
CHE, [Chemical Enginnering]
and
CSC, [Computer Science]
Average of 240 and above
Students who met criteria(one) above and whose average is up to or more than 240 can apply for supplementary in any of the following departments:
DNT,
OPT,
PHT,
CIE.
Average of 220-239 candidates who are in this categories can apply in the departments below:
POT,
MMT,
BCH,
IMB,
IMT,
GEO,
MME,
and
PTE.
Average of 200-219 can apply in the following departments
AGE,
FST,
BTC,
AEC,
TMT,
FMT,
and
BMT.
Average of 180-199-
Candidates under this category can apply for any other departments not listed above for consideration. Most of the new departments in FUTO fall under this category.
