Uniport School of Basic Studies 2011/2012 Academic Session Form is Out


For Candidates who are still ready to go to university can still proceed, with this Uniport Programme you can use only your Jamb result and O'L Results to go for BASIC STUDIES,This is to inform the general public that Uniport is inviting applications from suitable qualified candidates for Admission into the Basic Studies Programme of the University of Port Harcourt for the 2011/2012 academic session.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS For BASIC STUDIES In UNIPORT
Candidates should possess WASC/SSCE/ NECO/NABTEB O'L with credit passes in at least 5 relevant subjects and not more than two sittings, with a minimum UTME score of 180.

COURSE DURATION For UNIPORT BASIC STUDIES
The programme is for a period of one year (1 academic session).
METHOD OF APPLICATION FOR UNIPORT BASIC STUDIES
Application is done online, to process your UNIPORT BASIC PROGRAMME goto ecampus at www.uniport.edu.ng , and follow the instructions, outline in a very easy steps.

How Much Does It Cost To Purchase UNIPORT BASIC Form Programme
A fee of N7,500.00 [seven thousand five Naira Only] excluding Bank charges is required.

Payment can be made at designated Banks nationwide.

NOTICE: The names on candidates O’Level Certificates and JAMB Results must be the same with what is filled online.
please take note of that, most people fall into trouble for giving false informations.

CLOSING Date For PURCHASING UNIPORT BASIC Form
Online application has already commenced, we advice all interest candidates to proceed immediately, while closing date for the application is on Friday the 16th of December 2011.


SCREENING EXERCISE For UNIPORT BASIC PROGRAMME
The screening test will be Computer- Based and shall be conducted on Thursday the 5th of January 2012. [if you still are not computer literate, then you are ten step behind civilization, everything is now done using computer, do yourself a favour to either learn how to use the computer yourself, that is, if you have one at home or at your working place.
If not you can always go to the nearest computer training centre to learn. Take ACTION]


Venue of the Screening Exercise: University of Port harcourt

Candidates Requirements to come with On the screening Venue
Candidates are required to come with the following items, and also be at the venue on or before 7.00am.
-1. A clear copy of Photocard printed on-line.
-2. Writing materials: Biro, HB pencil, eraser
-3. None – Programmable Calculator. [in a simpler language, it is calculator with nothing. Non-scientific]


ACCEPTANCE FEE FOR UNIPORT BASIC STUDY
All Successful Candidates offered admission shall be required to pay a non-refundable Acceptance Fee of N10,000.00 [ten thousand Naira only] which covers all textbooks and identity card.

REGISTRATION FOR UNIPORT BASIC PROGRAMME
Registration of successful candidates will commence on Friday the 20th of January 2012, while lectures will start on Monday 30th January, 2012.
VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Please adhered to this notice to avoid been embarrased during the Screening Exercise.
-1. Programmable Calculators Of The FX – 991ES SERIES Are NOT ALLOWED!
-2. Mobile Phones, IPOD and related or similiar Gadgets ARE NOT ALLOWED! AT THE SCREENING VENUES.
-3. At The End Of The Programme Successful Candidates Who Are To Transit To The DEGREE PROGRAMME ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE THE NATIONAL MINIMUM SCORE IN THE 2012 UTME Scores.
