We
got news from one of credible source that the authorities of Federal
Polytechnic, Bida in Niger state have expelled about 11 students from
the school for examination malpractises during the year 2010/2011.
The Rector of the polytechnic, Alhaji Abdullahi Sule said this in the interview with newsmen in Bida, Niger state.
According to him, he said the students were given indefinite suspension from the school because the caught students didn't appear before the Examination Mis-conduct Committee.
He also said that the admission of another figure of students about 373 in numbers are also withdrawn for same malpractices during exams. He said that if any of the expelled students is seen in the school premises, they will be handed over to the appropriate security.
He concluded by advising students to back off from activities like exam malpractices, cultism, drug abuse and admission racketeering. Students are meant to face their studies and ward off every unpleasing attitude that can jeopardise their future.
