REGISTRATION GUILDELINE 2011/2012
Dear Law Students,
You are welcome to a new session in your academic calendar. The school of Law is glad to inform you that, with the encouragement and support it has received from the Vice- Chancellor, all the Course materials you require for your graduation are ready. They can be obtained either in print, software or CD. It is important that you study the materials with full concentration. When faced with any problem, feel free to contact your facilitator, any Course Coordinator or the Acting Dean. You are entitled to receive attention and get your problem solved as best as possible.
We are now in the season of consolidation and, we ask that you observe the following:
At your registration, ensure that you do not register for any course that is NOT within or below your present level. For instance 100 Level undergraduates should not register for 200 Level Courses. Similarly, 200 level undergraduates cannot register for 300 level Courses; neither will 400 level students register for 500 level courses.
The maximum credit units for which you can register must not exceed the following: -
100 Level First Semester 17 Credit Units
Second Semester 28 Credit Units
200 Level First Semester 28 Credit Units
Second Semester 28 Credit Units
300 Level First Semester 24 Credit Units
Second Semester 24 Credit Units
400 Level First Semester 24 Credit Units
Second Semester 24 Credit Units
The Director of Examination and Assessment has been duly informed of this. You should pay attention to certain combinations of subjects that are not permitted. You are to register only for ONE but not for both of the following:
