BUK Lecturers Join Students In Kano Subsidy Protest

We are announcing to the general public that the lecturers of Bayero University located in the heart of Kano  has joined the students in the protesting against the removal of fuel subsidy. The ASUU members who are lecturers are said to joined them.

About 30,000 protesters came out and carried with them cardboard papers and green leaves because the fuel subsidy removal has caused the high cost of living in the school premises.

Our reporters informed us that there was no record of calamity. But all the same, the school wants the FG to address the issue on ground in order to stop other protesting actions coming up underground.
