More news coming from the recent conducted jamb utme that hold on 24th of March, 2012. Do you know that out of 3001 centres that the Jamb board used for the 2012 Utme , the results of about 52 centres has
been withheld due to one form of offence or the other. Registrar of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board
(JAMB), Dibu Ojerinde said it.
He said something about the release of the 2012 UTME result, he said the withheld results were still been verified
by the board and the exact date of release cannot be announced as of now. The centers include two in Abia state, three in Benue state, three in Delta state, 24 in Rivers state, 11 in Lagos state and 6 in Imo state.
He also siad that the centres are being investigated for various cases of examination malpractices. Malpractices ranging from "gifarring", "copying", mobile aids, papers sharing and others.
According to him, 27, 266 candidates are having their results being held by the board for further verifications.
Out of millions that partook of this year utme, only three candidates out of the total 1,503,931 candidates scored 300 while 673,394 scored 200 and above. hmmm...May God help us in Nigeria.
